Jamie started dancing when she was 3 years old at an Irish dancing studio, she then went onto take local dance classes at the local recreational department in St.Francis and trained in styles such as, tap, pom, and lyrical. From there she danced on Deer Creek Intermediate's poms team from 6th-7th grade. From 8th-9th grade, she joined an All-Star Team called Stephanie Marie Dance Company and trained with them in the styles of pom, and jazz. In 10th-12th grade, Jamie danced on St. Francis High School's Dance Team where she trained with styles of hip-hop, jazz, pom and kick, she went to state with the team and brought back 2 state titles in D2 hip-hop. Finally when she was a senior she danced with Brookfield Center for the Arts All-Star Worlds Team, she trained in the styles of jazz, contemporary, pom, and ballet, where she went to compete at worlds and brought back 3 top 10 finishes. Throughout the years Jamie has also taught and coached younger classes and teams.
