Miya danced at Starz Dance Academy for 12 years and was on the Muskego dance team for 4 years. She has competed in pom, kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop but is also trained in ballet and tap. She placed 6th at the Midwest Championships in 2023 in her pom solo against hundreds of other soloists. Her all star team placed 2nd at The Dance Worlds in kick.
