Maggie started dancing at Young Dance Academy at the age of four. She danced there for 14 years total and was a part of the competitive program for ten years. On this program she has attended numerous competitions/conventions, learned from professional teachers, and danced for local events. She has been awarded many different scholarships, winner or runner-up at conventions, adjudication awards, solo and group overall awards, as well as the nation title for two years in a row. She has competed at many regional competitions but has also attended national competitions like Showstoppers, and most recently, The Dance Awards. At Young Dance Academy, she trained in many different styles such as ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, modern, musical theater, and tumbling. She has also taken classes for african, ballroom, improv and jazz funk. Young Dance Academy has given Maggie the opportunity to perform in Buck's games, an Adele tribute show, the Oak Creek 4th of July parade, the State Fair, DisneyLand, "My Love" music video and more. She has completed many solos, but for her last year, she was able to choreograph her final one.
