Maria started dancing at the age of 3 at Innovations Dance Studio in Burlington, WI, later moving to Foursis Dance Academy in Waterford, WI, where she learned tap, ballet, and gymnastics. At the age of 6 she began the All-Star competition team at Foursis, competing in Pom, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Kick all over the midwest. In her later years on the Dazzler Junior and Senior teams, Maria and her team earned various bids to the Dance Summit and Worlds, and holds several Bronze and Silver World titles. Maria then became an addition to her high school varsity dance team. At Union Grove High School, she performed at football and basketball games, and she competed with the dance team in pom and kick and earning their way to State. Maria also competed a duet and as a soloist, earning a conference and state title.
