Reese started dancing when she was 3 years old at Monona Academy of Dance in Monona, WI where she studied ballet and tap. When she was 5 years old, she began dancing at A Step Above in Monona, WI where she stayed until she was 16. At A Step Above, she did 7 years of competition dance and studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, modern, and pointe. She won several solo overalls, group awards, scholarships, and high adjudications. During her senior year of high school, she joined the dance team at LaFollette High school where she performed at basketball games and school events.
